Started his career in the Vacation Ownership Industry as a Project Director for a single site project in Alberta, Canada in the mid 90’s. This is where he was first introduced to CRDA, the Canadian Resort Development Association, based in Toronto Canada. Fascinated by the mission of the Canadian Vacation Ownership Trade Association he became an annual speaker on the role of the Association, setting ethics and operating guidelines to all Timeshare projects in Canada.
Also a regular face at ARDA’s annual conference, he became an advocate for ethical and successful implementations of sales and marketing processes. Published in most Industry’s magazines and a regular speaker at conferences, he continued to work on various projects enhancing their processes thus producing profit to the Developers.
This took him to the Cayman Islands as a Director of Sales for Wyndham Reef Resort where he spent the last 10 years. He was on the Board of Tourism Association for 5 years and continued as a consultant for projects in various international destinations.
He was elected as President of CVOA, the Canadian Vacation Ownership Association, previously known as CRDA since 1980. His first mandate was to rebrand the Association as it is known today.
Gaetan is married to Lorraine since 1987 and they have 2 wonderful children, Chantal living in Toronto and Marc in Vienna. If he isn’t with them, or doing work, you can usually find him on a golf course.
