CRDA Announces New Directors

Orlando, Florida – September 28, 2015 – (INTUITION by Perspective Group) – The Canadian Resort Development Association (CRDA) has welcomed two new members to its Board of Directors at a meeting held during its annual Canadian Resort Conference, which was in Vancouver, Canada.

The Canadian Resort Development Association (CRDA) is a trade association dedicated to furthering the interests of the resort industry in Canada and throughout the world. The association and its nearly 50 member companies are committed to supporting the highest standards through a structured Code of Ethics which all CRDA members pledge to uphold.

The new board members are:

Fermin Cruz, Vice President of Sales and Marketing-Americas Region, weholi
Chris Thompson, Vice President-Strategy, Intrawest Resort Club Group

New officers were also elected during the meeting. Dianne Hounsome, Developer/Manger of The Cottages at Port Stanton was elected as the CRDA Chair, Chris Thompson of Intrawest Resort Club Group is now the Vice-Chair; Will Lambert, Partner atGardiner Roberts and Ed Romanowski, Partner at Bellstar Hotels & Resorts, now serve as Secretary and Treasurer, respectively.“I am thrilled that CRDA’s scope has been broadened by the depth of experience that these industry professionals bring to our Board. The sectors they represent adds to our ability to become the relevant vibrant voice of the Canadian resort industry,” says Jon Zwickel, President and CEO, CRDA.

CRDA’s Board of Directors is now comprised of 15 industry leaders that help shape the direction of the association.
