DOJ and FTC File Statement of Interest in Hotel Pricing Collusion Lawsuit

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Justice Department’s Antitrust Division are taking an interest in a lawsuit over hotel room price collusion.

The two federal agencies have filed what’s known as a “statement of interest” with the District of New Jersey in the case of Cornish-Adebivi v. Ceasar’s Entertainment, according to a press release issued by the FTC.

Executives of Amex GBT had an investor call Monday shortly after it announced plans to acquire CWT for $570 million.

As of February 29, 2024, Mexican citizens travelling to Canada need to meet new requirements to be eligible for an electronic travel authorization (eTA). They also need to apply for a visitor visa (if they are not eligible for an eTA anymore)

Boeing CEO Dave Calhoun to step down at end of year amid plane-maker's woes

n a letter to employees announcing his departure, Calhoun wrote that the company is focused on returning Boeing "to stability after the extraordinary challenges of the past five years, with safety and quality at the forefront of everything that we do."

Stan Deal, president and CEO of Boeing's commercial airplanes unit, will retire from the company immediately with Stephanie Pope, the company's chief operating officer, now leading the division. Board chair Larry Kellner has also told the company he doesn't plan to stand for re-election in May.
