| Vacatia-Managed Resorts to Reopen after Hurricanes Helene and Milton | Source: Vacatia | Vacatia Inc., a leading provider of innovative, customer-centric solutions for timeshare resorts, has announced that although five of its 10 managed resorts in Florida sustained extensive damage from hurricanes Helene and Milton, they will all reopen following repairs. The two hurricanes hit Florida’s west coast in quick succession on September 26 and October 9. |

| Hilton Grand Vacations Announces Upsized and Consolidated $850 Million Warehouse Facility | Source: Hilton Grand Vacations | Hilton Grand Vacations Inc. announced the closing on an upsized $850 million revolving warehouse facility. The facility will accommodate both deeded and trust inventory including loans from legacy Bluegreen Vacations, which HGV acquired in January 2024. The facility includes customary used and unused fees and the maximum advance rate remains at 90%. The facility’s revolving period will end in November 2026, with a final maturity in November 2027. |

| Alberta government wants all-season resorts on Crown land to boost tourism | Source: CBC News | The Alberta government wants to entice private developers to propose building all-season resorts on Crown land, in an effort to boost tourism outside of summertime. Tourism and Sport Minister Joseph Schow tabled a bill that, if passed, would create a regulator to manage applications for — and approval of — all-season resorts on public land. There are currently none on Crown land. |

| Canada cancels automatic 10-year multiple-entry visas, tightens rules | Source: CTV News | Canada has announced changes to their visitor visa policies, effectively ending the automatic issuance of 10-year multiple-entry visas, according to new rules outlined by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. | Canadian dollar hits 2-year low against dominant US counterpart | Source: Reuters | The Canadian dollar weakened to a two-year low against its U.S. counterpart on Tuesday as the prospect of inflationary U.S. economic policy bolstered the greenback and widened the gap between U.S. and Canadian bond yields. The loonie was trading 0.2% lower at 1.3945 to the U.S. dollar, or 71.71 U.S. cents, after touching its weakest intraday level since October 2022 at 1.3967. |
