CRTA had the privilege of attending the ARDA 2026 Spring Conference in Las Vegas from May 10th to 13th. This serves as one of the primary timeshare industry events each year and provides us with an excellent opportunity to connect with industry leaders from around the globe.

This year’s conference attracted over 1,200 industry professionals, and there was a significant emphasis in the sessions around artificial intelligence, digital innovation, and enhancing owner services.

The conference sessions also revealed a shift in consumer demographics, with younger individuals becoming increasingly involved in the timeshare market. Notably, Generation Z and millennials now constitute 73% of new buyers, indicating the industry’s efforts to attract younger families and tech-savvy travelers.

The industry is also addressing the challenges posed by maintenance fee pressure and exploring new financing and insurance approaches. Notably, ARDA has introduced its own insurance captive, which aims to alleviate fee stress.

Another significant trend we observed is the continued development of mixed-use properties and hotel-to-timeshare conversions in major U.S. markets.

CRTA also participated in the GATE (Global Alliance for Timeshare Excellence) committee meeting, a meeting that brings together leaders from prominent global travel industry partnerships to foster collaboration and facilitate meaningful discussions.

Through GATE, the international timeshare community integrates organizations from Brazil, Asia Pacific, Australia, Canada, Europe, Mexico, Colombia, and South Africa. Their shared objective is to contribute to the industry’s growth by disseminating best practices, research, and market insights.

CRTA looks forward to continued networking and discussions with our industry partners worldwide.
